Wanted supervisor

The person whom from CSM I wanted to work with in my PhD sent me the nicest letter saying she is interested in my research and could we meet in September to discuss practicalities. However, doing that at such a later stage would mean that I could possibly start the course in October 2006 instead of this year. I would still want to work with her but I feel that losing a whole academic year when I am ready and can to start would be a mistake. I think I am going to go to SHU’s interview and politely reply to CSM to explain the situation. She could be an supervisor or an adviser. Or even, perhaps, an examiner…
